The Mongol Rally is an unmanned humanitarian car raid linking Europe to Mongolia. 12000 km between Ulaanbaatar from Prague to 3 in a Fiat Panda 1992 … courageous, reckless, unachievable? Cyprien, Thomas and Louis will have their hearts in a journey through the plains of Europe, the Russian forests, the Ural and Altai mountains, the great deserts without men of Kazakhstan and the steppe Mongolian.
The Pandaventure: “First of all, this raid is a humanitarian commitment: We are raising money for two associations, one called Cool Earth that wants to stop deforestation by supporting local people and the other Lotus Children Center that helps orphans in Ulaanbaatar by providing basic human rights (food, housing, education). “
It is above all a joint challenge, each crew must gather a minimum of £1000 for two associations, but also sports because it will have to cover the third of the globe with a small car of 45 horses. The challenge lies in the ability to solve problems, autonomies failures throughout the 12000 km. It’s not a speed race, and only 60% of crews arrive at the finish.
